Installing the system
We decided to opt for a heat pump when our boiler was coming to the end of its life. With the grant scheme in place it was probably twice the cost of just replacing the boiler but we felt it was worth it for a complete change. Installation to replace the existing gas boiler, water tank and central heating system, only took 4 days, not a huge impact on the property overall.
Living with a heat pump
So happy with the system, especially when combined with our solar panels and a specialist heat pump owner tariff (from Octopus). The house has never been at such a stable temperature, costs seem reasonable. We are now completely gas free!
