Installing the system

We are a dorma bungalow with 16 solar panels and a 5Kw battery. The house has ten radiators and is a constant 22°C so cosey warm at all times. The installstion required two new rads and took 3 days. The main water storage now occupies most of our wash house leaving room for washing machine and tumble dryer but we lost quite a bit of storage.

Living with a heat pump

The house temperature remains a constant 22°C. It is a gentle heat and the rads never get too hot to touch. Hot water is just as we like it. We cant evaluate costs yet as we have only had the installation for five months since last November.
