About me
We've lived in this home for 20+ years, and our children are now married and raising their own families. We have decided to stay here for at least the next 15 years so wanted to do our bit for the environment our kids will inherit, and reduce our long term running costs.

Installing the system

We have a mid-terrace Town House. Installation was fairly straight forward as the new tank was installed in the same location as the outgoing unvented cylinder, and the Air Source Heat Pump was installed at the back of the house.

Living with a heat pump

It's been great! Just leave it on all the time, and it has provided all the hot water we've needed and kept the house warm even through the coldest days of Winter. As the gas boiler was removed during the installation, and it was the only gas device in the home, we've had the gas meter removed too, not only saving on gas costs but standing charge too.
