Installing the system

Our previous Gas heating system was very old and we suspect installed when the house was originally built in the 1970's. We had made several alterations to the house including 2 extensions, but had not replaced the heating system. In recent years when it was clear the system was inefficient and becoming difficult to service we also decided we wanted to upgrade the water storage and move away from Gas to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly method of heating.
We spoke to several suppliers and decided on Aira. We also had mainly microbore piping so the installation required the replacement of that along with the replacement of all radiators. With the Government grant the project was affordable and Aira did an excellent job and theirs installers were first class. One winter later and we are pleased with our choice and the system works well with our solar panels and home battery.
