Installing the system

I had an incredibly positive installation experience with Octopus energy. My system was fitted 28-30th April 2025. I booked the installation a few months before and purposely asked for a long lead-in time as I wanted to change my kitchen rad first and decorate. I was supported and advised throughout the lead time by Charlotte Summers who was incredibly responsive and informative.

Living with a heat pump

Having only used heating a couple of times, my experience is so far with the hot water function. No issues apart from it taking longer for the hot water to come out of the tap initially. My water pressure is better than before and I have plenty of hot water. I have a mains shower, as well as an electric one in my en-suite, and it works perfectly well now through the new system like it did with the combo boiler.
