We originally looked at it to try to reduce CO2 emissions and to take advantage of the grant and loan scheme in Scotland. Happy to share our experience with others and to answer any questions about how it's going for us.

Installing the system

The Aira installation team were great. They were professional and got on with the job and everything went smoothly. The overall job took 3 days but we were only without hot water for a day. The old boiler, hot water tank and radiators were all promptly removed and we had very little redecoration to do afterwards.

Living with a heat pump

So far we've only had it for a few months over the summer so may be too soon to comment. The heating has not really been touched and the house has always felt just right. The hot water runs slightly hotter than the old system.
