About me
We are keen to do our bit with reducing emissions and the uplift in the grant seemed like a good opportunity to go ahead with a heat pump.

About this property
Installing the system
We did the installation in summer 2024 preemptively before the gas boiler needed replacing. All the radiators needed replacing and the airing cupboard houses the tank. Installation was about 2 weeks.
Living with a heat pump
Its been better than we expected in that the house has been very comfortably warm, which it wasn't always with the gas boiler, and the running costs have been equivalent or less so far.
