Octopus Cosy 9 air source heat pump in a post 2003 property

Rebecca

We wanted our house to run with as much renewable energy as possible but also with the aim to save money eventually. We also have solar panels, batteries and an electric car.

Installing the system

We had the Octopus Cosy 9 installed in May 2025. The Cosy 9 is central on our patio with piping going up into the attic and down into our airing cupboard. We had the water tank replaced and gas meter and boiler removed. We have ground floor underfloor heating and 11 radiators upstairs. Luckily only one radiator needed to be changed for the install.

Living with a heat pump

So far so good! Only had it running a few weeks.
