Family of 4. We are really happy to know our systems is environmentally much more sustainable and tied with our electricity tariff being green wholly renewables powdered! No more gas :-) and a hope to pass on a better world to our children as a result. Opening our home as appreciate its a big decision and the more people can see the more informed they can be.

Installing the system

Octopus installed over a week, which included removal and capping of the exist gas boiler, install of a new hot water tank, replacement of 8 radiators to ones of a slightly larger size and of course installation of the heat pump.

Living with a heat pump

We are still to go into our first winter but have been provided with lots of useful information to ensure we get the best out of our system. Hot water is being provided by the pump and is very akin to having it provided by the old gas boiler. The pump is very quiet not notably noisy when running.
