I've just retired after a career in the RAF as an aeronautical engineer and a second career as a Rackets Club Manager. I wanted to get rid of gas, do my bit for the environment and improve my heating system.

Installing the system

We were able to remove the gas meter and supply and rely solely on electric provided by the grid and supplemented by solar panels installed in 2005.

Living with a heat pump

I've not needed the central heating yet as it's been so warm but the hot water is working perfectly.
