I am not an Eco Green person, I am leaning more to the financial savings side as we are in our forever home. We had solar installed the year before and this was the next step to getting zero energy bills per month.

Installing the system

Octopus Energy were excellent throughout. We have a large detached 4 bedroom house built in 1979, so there were a few things to consider. We had a few iterations of the design stage to get as good an outcome as possible. The team were informative and knowledgeable. We had a full overhaul, the HW Tank was moved from the airing cupboard to Utility and a total of 12 new radiators. There were some prerequisites that I had to organise and confirm were completed in advance but nothing too unexpected.

Living with a heat pump

It has not been long and we are yet to reach the all important winter months.
