Installing the system

During an extension we decided to go to ASHP, as the boiler was old and needed moving anyway. Pipework went between ceiling and floor joists so hidden from view. Some radiators needed to be replaced. Overall four days by Octopus.

Living with a heat pump

It's not really been used yet during the summer months as we have solar and battery, as well as a Solar I-boost, which diverts excess electricity to the immersion heater. It is set up to come on at 4am to ensure we have hot water, but the immersion is set slightly higher, so the ASHP hasn't been used much. Winter will be the interesting time.
