Installing the system
We bought an industrial unit and converted it into a showroom and office space. This included installing a ground source heat pump powered by solar and battery system. We also installed an air source heat pump and cylinders in a cupboard, so that we could show people what an example airing cupboard set up would look like.
Living with a heat pump
It's fantastic. We use it for heating in the winter and cooling in the summer, during which our energy bills are zero despite the very high cooling load. The heat that the system produces is very even and the MVHR system we've got means the office air is always fresh and clean.
