About me
I installed the heatpump as I was fed up of paying a standing charge on a gas meter, and also wanted to do my bit towards a greener future. Having had solar fitted first and selling the excess energy back to eon, I decided to then look at heating and was offered 0% finance and a £7500 grant. It was a no brainer.

Installing the system

The install was straight forward. The survey took 1/2 day where everything was checked, and install took 3 days. The heat pump was installed with all new pipe work and then new rads to keep home warm were installed to existing internal pipe work. The electrician took 1/2 day to wire back to fuseboard.

Living with a heat pump

Hot water daily and always hot enough. I have solar with 10kw batteries installed. In summer months it’s costing 6p a day to heat water in two bed house, with two adults showering daily.
