About me
My wife and I recently retired and have moved to Hexham taking on a 'project' house which we have now renovated. We have long been environmentally concerned so wanted to make our home as eco and future proof as possible and are very happy to encourage others to do so.

Installing the system
We installed the Heat Pump along with Underfloor hearting during a major renovation on the house. We had already installed Solar Panels and two Batteries. Our Underfloor was installed through the builders and Octopus then came to intall the pump (the had perviosuly installed the Solar panels and an EV charging point)
Living with a heat pump
Great for hot water. Installed and commisisoned during August so have not used the ehating yet. Hot water in working well with a SCOP on around 4.
