About me
Our existing boiler was 15 years old and it was likely it would need replacing in the next 5 years or so. So we would take advantage of the government grant for a heat pump, as that would be cheaper option than the cost of a new gas boiler.

Installing the system

The installation took 4 days. The old hot water tank was replaced and the old gas boiler and gas meter have been removed. Four of our existing radiators were replaced, at no extra cost.

The only other change was replacing the gas hob with an induction hob, which is far better.

Living with a heat pump

It is early days but it is working really well and we are really pleased with it, you wouldn't know it was there.
