About me
We had a problem with our 12-year-old boiler earlier in 2025, which would have cost£500 to fix, so we started thinking about installing a heat pump. So far we're pleased with how things are going but the real test will be this winter.

Installing the system

We had to have the majority of our radiators replaced, but they were well over 20 years old so that was no bad thing really. Octopus did a great job with the installation.

Living with a heat pump

So far things are going according to plan, but we've only needed to use it for heating the water so far.

Accessing the venue

There is a parking bay near the house but if it's busy it would be better to park at the end of Esther Close, in Nightingale Crescent. Esther Close is single track, but there are places you can turn around.
