Bit of a green technology fan having an EV, solar panels, house battery and air source heat pump. Realised there is a lot of misinformation about renewables and wanted to show people reality.

Air source heat pump

Installed by A Mellor Plumbing and Heating of Rochdale

Installing the system

Vaillant Aerotherm 10kw heat pump with radiators upstairs and underfloor heating downstairs. Two zones with separate room thermostats and weather compensation.

Living with a heat pump

Haven't really needed the heating since installing it, but test results are very positive, and hot water far better than the old gas boiler as well as being much cheaper.

Accessing the venue

Public car park about 100m away but on street parking limited. The equipment is at a lower level and only accessible via a staircase. Guide dogs welcome and there are no other pets in the house.
