Had a very successful heat pump installed in our previous house. We have brought this house from EPC F up to A, with annual carbon emissions down from 4.5tCO2e to 1.5tCO2e. Want to help others realise how good heat pumps are.

Installing the system

Timber framed bungalow with rendered brick outer. Heat pump and new central heating system installed by Ledi Renewables in 5 working days - installers responded to our requirements, and took great care, with very complete commissioning. Removed LPG boiler and 2000l LPG tank.
We have also installed 5kWp solar PV and 13.5kWh battery system allowing us to have electricity in a power cut and store cheap rate night electricity.

Living with a heat pump

House is warm and cosy always - set to 19C during day and 17C at night
