Living with a heat pump
I have an air source heat pump with underfloor heating on the ground floor and radiators on the first floor. The house has been super-insulated with 100mm celotex on the internal walls. All this has been retrofitted. I am installing thermal storage for hot water and heating. I have an 11kW Gaia wind turbine and I'm about to install 8kW of sola PV. These will generate about 30kWh per year. I have an electric car and I'm about to install diverters to push surplus energy to where it is needed.
