About me
Vicky and I decided to install a heat pump after a lot of research and taking advantage of the current grants. We were worried about the upheaval but positively rated Octopus for the care taken during the instal. We are happy to share our experience and help others with their research. We don’t plan to hold any formal events but are happy for people to get in touch and ask questions or arrange a visit.

Installing the system

With this installation we had the hot water tank moved downstairs to free up space in the airing cupboard. We also didn’t want it against the house so had to have a trench dug out for the pipework and electrics

Living with a heat pump

We are running this along with solar panels and battery storage. We also have a Solar iboost installed. It’s currently very cheap to run.
