About me
We have just moved to the area and the heat pump was installed as part of the initial renovations . We needed a reliable cost effective solution to replace the existing coal fired heating system. It would have been useful if we could have seen a heat pump in operation before making the decision to go with one so we decided that we could share our experience with others thinking about this option

Installing the system

We own a 1970's built bungalow with no mains gas. The original heating system was a fire and back boiler. The obvious choice was a heat pump replacement. It took 5 days to install the pump and upgrade the existing radiators. The whole process with octopus was simple and pain free !! The installation team were absolutely amazing !!

Living with a heat pump

The heat pump is very different to he gas boiler heating system we originally had, it takes a little effort to set up and operate effectively but the benefits outweigh the differences once you get used to them.
