Living with a heat pump
We moved to air source not long after moving to Dorset. After being used to gas central heating for decades, our only other choice was to stick with the dirty, smelly and toxic oil-fired heating system we inherited as no mains gas down here.
We did a lot of other stuff to make our home more energy efficient (partly because we were wasting money and were cold before!) which helped us bring down the size of the heat pump
