Living with a heat pump
11.2kW Mitsubishi Ecodan R32 heat pump. FTC6 controller. Wireless roomstat. Single zone Unvented heating circuit with new large radiators fed by 8mm microbore network via low loss header. Separate pumps for primary and secondary circuits. Vented heat pump compatible hot water tank 200l. Worked well from the start but since last Oct'23 even better when I changed the operating mode from Weather Compensation to "Room" (Auto Adaptive mode), and even better still since Oct'24 when Mitsubishi installed a firmware upgrade to manage the compressor in a more efficient way and reduce wear.
