Home is a typical 1970s end terrace/semi detached dwelling with typical modernisation including cavity and loft insulation, double glazed doors and windows. Has a mix of radiator and underfloor heating.
Heat pump was installed just over three years ago as part of the electrification of heat demonstration project. Happy to answer questions about what it has been like to live with as part of a fully electric home.
The heat pump was installed on an existing low flow temperature system along with a new mixergy smart hot water cylinder.
The system is now operating at lower running cost than gas.
