Installing the system
Welcome to my Home!
I've had a extensive retrofit journey, This including the installation of a Mitsubishi air source heat pump, 180L Mixergi hot water cylinder with solar PV diverter, new radiators thought out, 6.7kw UKSOL Solar PV panels with Tigo optimisers on bidirectional elements of the roof, paired with a Solis 10kw three phase hybrid inverter & a puredrive 25kw battery storage system , 22kw Zappi fast EV charger, This along with the installation of poly bead cavity wall, loft & room in roof insulation.
We had a single phase looped electricity supply which has been upgraded to a three phase supply, had this relocated from internal to an external wall, smart meter fitted & upgraded consumer units. The batteries are also linked to an emergency power supply so the vast majority of our home can be powered in the every of a power cut.
We have also had upgraded ventilation, This including, Heated Postive input ventilation system with remote control panel
Enviovent extractor fans to the kitchen, utility room & all bathrooms, These automatically come on when moisture or humidity is detected within the room
New smoke alarms fitted throughout, With environmental sensors fitted to each room, This provides Montoiring for damp, temperature & CO2 (Air quality) as well been able to remotely monitor all of these via a mobile app
Welcome to ask any questions, have a look at my whole system, the apps to monitor & data captured.

Living with a heat pump
I've now had our heat pump for 18 month & had temperatures in this last winter of low as -7 & the inside of our home 21c so can say with confidence this technology & heating works in our home, We was on a oil heating system before the works above & in terms of costs paired with the system we have above, our annual bill savings which includes now been all electric are approximately £2000.
The heat pump provides a constant low level heat, It is much more comfortable than the oil boiler which was on & getting super hot then cooling down quickly
