Living with a heat pump
Mitsubishi 8.5kw Ecodan heat pump providing heating and hot water. Converted from gas boiler with just three radiators upgraded. All possible insulation installed plus all possible draught proofing to give cosy, warm home. Also 12 solar panels (SWW facing) and battery. Solar iboost directs excess power into water cylinder. Excess solar PV power directed to the grid for income (summer mainly). Electric hob, oven and cars for fully fossil fuel free home! Power bill is ~£100 a month all in. Amazing job done by AOS Ltd - pipework something to behold!
