- Sunamp Thermino for hot water storage
- 4 out of 12 existing radiators upgraded
- Homely and Tado for heat controls
- Solaredge PV & battery storage
- Nissan Leaf with vehicle to grid (V2G)
Mains gas disconnected when ASHP installed.
The heating is very much part of the energy system of the house and is controlled in such a way to take advantage of PV generation where available and time of use electricity tariffs during winter.
The house previously had a combi gas boiler in the loft.
One of the challenges for the install was a lack of space for a suitable hot water storage tank. A Sunamp Thermino was chosen and works fantastically with the high temperature capable Samsung heat pump.
