Air source heat pump

Cost of energy bills per year: £650

Installing the system

Previously had gas boiler and hot water cylinder. Installed as part of house renovation with the cylinder being moved to the loft to make more space in the bathroom. Underfloor heating installed to replace elderly inefficient radiators.

I had quite a poor initial installation - the heat pump worked fine but the pipework was done poorly in loft so has to have it rectified by more experienced plumber.

Built in 1985, designed by CZWG architects using a novel timber frame construction.
Vaillant Aerotherm 5kw heat pump with Unistor cylinder in loft. 2kw of solar panels. Installed 2022.
