We installed our 5kW heat pump in 2002 as part of a home ‘retrofit’ project, one that has resulted in our annual energy use reducing by 2/3rds and our carbon emissions to fall by 80/90%. Our 4 bed (195 sqm) home is now ‘all electric’ and our monthly DD for our electricity is only £90.

We have been very happy with our heat pump. It supplies all our hot water and heating (through an under-floor heating system). We previously had a Worcester Bosch combi boiler.
