Living with a heat pump

Our house is an end terrace in Chippenham built in around 1905.  We replaced a gas boiler with an Air Source Heat Pump in early 2022 and also had solar panels fitted separately around the same time.  Our ASHP is a Daikin "split unit" with a heat exchanger in the garden and a condenser on the wall of our kitchen where our gas boiler used to be.  We went with a split unit because we didn't have room to have a monobloc unit outside our kitchen.  The ASHP heats the house via radiators and we had a new (more efficient) hot water tank fitted.  We had most of our old radiators replaced with slightly wider and longer radiators.  We did not need any other work doing as we already had enough loft and cavity wall insulation.
