Air source heat pump is a Daikin Altherma unit, it was installed by my energy provider Octopus Energy. Located in the North East of England and in a coastal area, the heat pump is installed to the side of the house and is on constantly 24/7, this is set so the temperature of the house is constantly at 18c (in the summer) and warmer in the winter around 22c/23c. This means the heat pump only comes on to top up the temperature, there are no spikes in temperature of the house it is consistent, so it doesn't actually come on very often. Only at night it is programmed to top up the water tank which is set to 60c, and uses more electricity when energy prices are very low. 
My energy tariff is for an EV so all electricity usage is timed between 23.00-05.00.
