Living with a heat pump
The house is a timber-framed 1 1/2 storey design that is typical for this part of Scotland. It was built in around 2003. We replaced the 35kW gas combi boiler in 2023 with the ASHP. Half of the radiators were replaced to increase their heat output and a hot water cylinder was installed in the built-in garage.
