We have an old granite cottage and have done insulation and draught-proofing work to maximise the efficiency of our heating. Had to swap some radiators for larger ones but not all (we have relatively small rooms). It works well and is efficient but needs different management from oil/gas CH. We have ground source heating with a battery, and solar panels, so are a fossil-fuel free home!
