Living with a heat pump
I live in a fairly typical post-war semi in Lakenham - 3-bed, with decent levels of loft and cavity insulation.
I had my heat pump installed in January 22, replacing an old inefficient system boiler that was well past its use-by date. Over the two winters that I've had it my house has been warm, my bills have been manageable (allowing for the fact that in February 22 Russia invaded Ukraine and electricity prices went crazy), and I've not had any noise or 'it's too cold it won't work' issues.
