Installing the system

ASHP system installed as part of a whole-home retrofit and extension of a Victorian house, along with MVHR ventilation and some internal/external insulation. Gas supply has been capped off.

Wet underfloor heating in the kitchen extension and bathrooms, new radiators everywhere else.

Living with a heat pump

Heat pump is invisible day to day, just hums along doing its thing.

The system runs constantly, delivering just the right amount of heat to keep the entire house at 21 degrees. Energy costs are much lower than with the previous gas boiler.
