Installing the system
Very impressed with the whole process from start to finish.
Octopus have been a dream to deal with.
Living with a heat pump
What I mean is that it works as I had hoped for.
We have had rather cold periods now - down to -7 over night a few times.
Daily cost- very acceptable. On the coldest days it is slightly cheaper than gas (estimated) and the warmer days it is quite a bit cheaper than gas. It helps that I have home batteries to supplement the demand. Even without batteries, I believe it would be at worst cost parity with gas, at best, reasonably cheaper than.
House is always nice and warm.
Hot water is working very well too. We have never ran out as it has a keep warm function - where it heats to the set point temperature at start of set schedule, and then wont go below the keep warm temp - we set at 32deg, until next schedule period and then it goes upto the set point temp again.
