Installing the system

The installation took about a week whilst we were away. We also had a 11 kWh battery installed earlier in the year. The hot water tanks fitted in our existing airing cupboard.

Our radiators were updated 20 years ago and have not been updated since.

We have had gas completely removed including the meter.

Living with a heat pump

We're very pleased with the heat pump. It keeps the house at 20°. It is whisper quiet. Our hot water for showers etc is good. We heat the water every other day to 50° and higher once a week.

Our electricity bills are substantially less than the previous two years combined electricity and gas bills on a month by month basis.

The controlling app is very flexible and gives us plenty of options.
