Installing the system
Installation by Custom Renewables of Banbury. Would highly recommend them. Liam and the team were brilliant. Took four and half days. Involved installation of hot water tank replacing combi boiler and replacing more radiators than I originally anticipated, which took the cost up quite a bit.
Living with a heat pump
Better than anticipated. The house is always warm, the heat pump is near silent and the real surprise is that the running costs are so much lower than with a gas combi boiler. We have solar panels and a battery, and it is the combination of heat pump and battery that achieves such lower running costs.
