Our house is typical of those found on many Wokingham estates built in the 1960s. We have double glazing, cavity wall and loft insulation with radiators throughout - no under-floor heating. The pump was installed by Heat Geek and we also upgraded 7 radiators at the same time to maximise the heat pump's efficiency. The installation took about 7 days and went very smoothly. 

The system was installed in October 24 so our experience is limited at present  We run our heat pump in full weather compensation mode and maintain the house temperature at 20 degrees, reduced to 18 overnight. The temperature is incredibly stable, very comfortable and a significant change to how the gas boiler worked. So far the system efficiency seems very good - Heat Geek have guaranteed that it will be at least 380% efficient and, from the data we have, the actual figure seems likely to be greater than this.
