Detached property, hosted by Ian

A small 4 bedroom detached property.  Positioning of the unit was limited but by removing a garden shed we made room for it where it is out of the way. Most radiators were replaced and both the original hot water tank and cold water tank were removed.  Extra space!  The new hot water tank is in the garage which served us well for connectivity.  Piping from the unit to the tank had to pass along the front of the house.  Using trunking to disguise the pipes has worked very well and it blends in seamlessly.
Installation was chaotic with 5 installers working all over the house, but they were courteous, friendly and efficient, finishing the job in 4 days instead of the planned 5.
A great job!

Like anything new, one has to adapt.  We have been warm from switch on - in fact better than the old gas system. The main learning curve is getting the most out of the system at the lowest cost to suit ourselves.  After 2 weeks we are still tweaking the settings but learning more all the time.  It's a positive experience.
