We wanted to future proof our energy usage after a lifetime of not considering the environment with our lifestyle and hobbies. We have a battery system installed and an Ev charger so we can take advantage of cheaper tariffs. We are considering solar but will get through this winter to understand our energy usage with the heat pump.

Installing the system

The energy calculations suggested we change 3 radiators. We had no choice over the style which did not match the ones already installed. Whilst we have microbore pipes we have noticed no adverse effects by not upgrading the radiators.

Living with a heat pump
