I have a Victorian house in North London that I have spent several years fully renovating.  A few years ago I put solar panels on the roof with a battery storage system.  The last remaining major project was removing gas heating and going all electric with a heat pump heating system.  It took several years and several attempts to find a contractor and heat pump system that were well suited for the retrofit of the Victorian house.

I was very pleased with the Econic Energy team, having by far the most knowledge for what heat pump system would fit with my house, how it should be installed, and how it could be installed efficiently with minimal interruption to the house.  The team executed the project in less than a week, and the system is now working well.

I am happy to recommend the Econic Energy team, and encourage others to pursue heat pump heating system retrofits for their own houses.

The heat pump is working very well.  It required larger radiators to be installed, but the result is the house is more consistently warm and evenly heated throughout the day and night.  

The smart electricity management system allows the heat pump works to run more when electricity is cheapest.  With an old Victorian house and minimal exterior wall insultation the result is operating costs are similar or lower cost than gas heating.  I expect this to improve in the future as the cost of gas increases relative to the cost of electricity.
