Installing the system
Installation took 4.5 days, with a team of 4 from Octopus working on the job.
We were without heat for 3 nights, but had hot water after 1. It was a lot of disruption but they were very good and respectful of our space.
The heat pump is out the back door, and the pipes etc run round the side of the house and go into the garage, where the water tank etc is where our old boiler was.

Living with a heat pump
It gives a lovely constant heat throughout the day. It's almost silent so we don't hear it at all, whereas the boiler was constantly firing up quite loudly. Hot water provision is fine, no issues there.
We've only had it a couple of weeks at the time of writing but it's working very well.
