Living with a heat pump

Our house is a typical 1962 3 bedroom detached which we refurbished in 2021/22 including moderate insulation upgrades and the installation of an ASHP and solar PV. Our heat pump supplies underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs, and over the last 12 months has achieved an overall sCOP of 4.3. We use an off peak electricity tariff (Octopus Intelligent) which allows us to run out heating system at a significantly lower running cost than the previous gas boiler.

Accessing the venue

Our address is 105 Nottingham Road, Kimberley, NG16 2ND. From J26 of the M1 head toward Nottingham, taking the first exit from the next roundabout onto the B600 towards Kimberley and Watnall. Continue straight on past the three ponds pub and we are on the right in just under 1 mile. We are directly opposite a small slip road leading from Nottingham Road down to the A610. You are welcome to park on our drive
