Installing the system

My heat pump was installed alongside solar panels and batteries, and underfloor heating. The house is 2 terraced cottages from the 1850s, and half of the home was being extensively renovated. The heat pump installation itself took around 3 working days, and my installer got on with it quickly once everything was ready.

Living with a heat pump

My energy bills have been massively reduced, and the house is warmer than with the previous system. I have adapted easily to the quite different way of controlling the heating and hot water. The system was commissioned in march 2024.
