Work for my system included: 
- Replacement of the vented / gravity fed hot water cylinder, gas boiler, and controls - now upgraded to an unvented system, with the cold water tank in the loft removed. 
- The old gas boiler and flue was removed and sealed. Gas supply to the property was disconnected, I now have an induction hob in the kitchen. 
- Groundworks / foundation for the heat pump, and additional power supply consumer units were installed by Octopus. 
- All of the radiators in the property were upgraded. 
- My existing solar PV system was fitted with a diverter which sends surplus PV power to the immersion heater.
- The installation work took 6 days to fully complete, including snagging. 
- The Octopus crew were really good, a few minor issues have all been resolved

My new system all works as promised, it takes longer to heat up the house from cold vs. a gas boiler, as it works differently with lower flow temperatures.  It switches on according to the set-point temperature. There are good benefits available from off-peak power supply tariffs. Remote control of the system via Daikin's Onecta app is simple enough and very useful, allowing temperatures to be programmed for a full week.
