We got 5 quotes from household names and Octopus were cheapest. They provided a more detailed quote after full survey and explained why a smaller sized (8kw) heat pump is more suited than other installer suggestions (11-16kw). Their suggestion and heat loss calculation was close to Heat Geek's online estimates which gave me confidence. Turnover from online quote to install was roughly 6 weeks. They installed the system end of Nov 2024 without any issues, were very efficient and professional.

I have taken their 5 year plan which will validate 5 year warranty on everything they have installed plus annual full system service. I have also extended by extra 2 years with Daikin by paying additional £221 therefore giving me total of 7 year warranty on the heat pump and cylinder.

We have no more cold/hot spots in the house and no more noise coming from the pipes (this was an issue with boiler). Heat pump is providing very consistent temp between 19.5c (night) to 21c (day), 24/7 for the full house as no more zoning. It runs very efficiently without any noise from it.
