Installing the system
We got a heat pump installed in summer 2024, along with a small solar array and batteries, to reduce our carbon footprint and improve the comfort of our house. We had new radiators fitted to allow us to run more efficiently.
We live in a three story Victorian house which has been partially insulated and fully double glazed, and so it was a complex job, taking nearly 2 weeks.

Living with a heat pump
It’s been completely transformative for us! The house is consistently warm, while bills are less than before. With all our energy coming from renewable sources (either our own or from our provider) we no longer feel bad about being comfortable in a large family home.
