Installing the system

My property is a new build, completed in March 2023. We asked the builder to install a heat pump instead of a gas boiler, but they declined. The install affected only the airing cupboard and the outside area - no radiators were changed - and took 4 days.

Living with a heat pump

The heat pump was installed in mid-December 2024, and we are right into some very cold days! So far the house is warm and we are comfortable, but we have a lot to learn about the controls and optimising for efficiency.
